Dr. Weidong Li
Dr. Weidong Li received his MD/PhD and was a surgeon for 7 years before he came to the United States to work on NIH founded research projects at UT medical Branch in mid 90s. During his research in Neuroscience he attained an assistant professorship. Keeping in mind his goal of serving people, he diligently pursued a Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. After completing externships in general optometry and ocular disease at two Veteran’s Administration hospitals and the Joslin diabetes clinic in New England states, he returned to Houston area and moved to Dallas after Hurricane Ike. Since then, he has practiced general optometry in Dallas, Garland, and Rockwall. Equipped with extensive educational, work, and life experiences and a strong motivation to devote time and effort to serve people, Dr. Li is eager to provide excellent eye care for his patients.
